Another fully laden soft sided vehicle on its side but at the base of very steep embankment this time. The base of the slope was around 18 feet beneath road level.
There is always the question of whether a fragile fridge box will retain its integrity after being overturned and subsequently lifted. They are simply not designed to withstand a load, that should remain carried by the chassis/ floor.
We were lucky this time. Carefully placed straps and a gradual increase in effort resulted in the truck standing up nicely.
It was supported all the way back out by the 1075 whilst the NRC provided the winching effort.
It was then suspend towed to Purfleet for assessment / unloading.
