We attended this job with Kavanagh Recovery. The driver had got too far over to the N/S of a very narrow lane. Although the photos don't show it, the N/S of the trailer had sunk up to its axles. It was laden and leaning so much that the O/S was virtually off the ground. The unit was stuck at an angle, the steering having been damaged by previous failed attempts to recover the vehicle.

There was a large drop into the field on the lower side. The rotator was set up behind the trailer and lifted it via four points on the N/S and used the drag winch to slide it back onto the carriageway. We carried out temporary repairs to the steering before we could move the vehicle.
