The driver of this small dustcart went some distance down something that was not much better than a bridlepath, which led to a dead end in woodland near Heathfield. He could not turn around and the vehicle required winching out. We sent our smallest "heavy" recovery vehicle - it did find the conditions difficult but did manage to get into a place where we could use the trees to our advantage. You can see by the images just how wet and poor the ground conditions were.
