Another stuck tanker!

This was another case of wrong location. The driver went up the wrong track and the tanker slid sideways into a culvert. It was fully loaded and was laying on its delivery manifolds etc with the N/S rear wheels suspended in mid air. The suspension and rear axle were up against the brickwork of the culvert. It wasn't possible to get by the tanker and to winch it out would have been catastrophic. It doesn't take much to damage the manifolds underneath the tanker and allow kerosene to make its way into the watercourse. The rotator was rigged to lift the tanker whilst winching it forwards using a tree to divert the direction of pull. The tanker carried on to deliver the rest of its load that day.
