The driver of this vehicle had to take supplies to a solar farm, unfortunately he wasn't told which way in and which farm. He proceeded down this road which was not more than a farm track. There were several very tight turns, and we had just had record rainfall. The vehicle got stuck the night before and it was thought best to leave the job until daylight. The truck had gone in forwards, could go no further and the driver attempted to reverse out. His truck soon slipped off the side of the track. The Autocar had to get in front of his artic as it would have caused considerable damage to bumper, tanks etc. if winched backwards.

The only way in was blocked by the artic, so the Autocar had to be forced along the soft verge/field. The first time it got halfway by before having to be winched backwards by the small rotator. A faster run up through the already carved ruts was enough to get by. The truck was winched out before being taken the whole length of the track. Further problems were encountered with tight turns, slopes etc before getting back to hard standing.
