Polish Artic left motorway near Ashford

We had to assist Ashford Recovery with this job as the trailer was laden and it needed a rotator. There was a crash barrier just in front of the artic and a concrete culvert not far behind it. It could only be recovered by moving sideways up onto the hard shoulder. The rotator was able to lift the off-side and, using the other winches, it could bring the casualty back towards the motorway.
The tractor unit was destroyed but the trailer went on with another unit to deliver its load in Holland, after receiving minor repairs.
